Caitlin founded Police Legitimacy Solutions, LLC because of her desire to help agencies solve the biggest issues facing law enforcement agencies today.

She worked as a police officer in California, with specialized assignments in investigations, youth services, and rapid deployment and tactical enforcement. She has taught criminology and criminal justice at the university level, and has published extensive research on police best practice.

Caitlin holds a B.A. in Sociology from the University of California, Santa Barbara, a M.S. in Criminology from Fresno State, and a Ph.D. in Criminology and Criminal Justice from Old Dominion University.
